Requirements

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• 1-3 years’ experience building extrusion tools.

• Able to Blend & Polish dies

• using precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, gauges and Vernier calipers to check the tool’s dimensions

• Trained in the safe use of Vertical Mills, Drills, and Surface Grinders

• Ability to Fabricate and Weld and asset

• Responsible Independent worker, effectively self-manage time, and able to prioritize work schedule

• Work within the Health and Safety Rules set out by the company

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly of extrusion tools

• Perform maintenance and repairs on extrusion tools

• Use of an Extrude Hone to polish dies

• Make custom tools, jigs, and brackets from time to time

• Maintain a clean and safe work area
